A Song A Day: January 4th – Feel Good Factor

4 01 2011

Well, for alot of people in the UK now, it’s back to work so some of you may be feeling a little down. I first heard todays song as a wee nipper when I had a tape (remember those) of 60’s songs. This was track 1, side 1, and it’s stuck with me ever since. Emerson, Lake and Palmer did a brill cover, but this is the original from the early 60’s! It’s a short track, but has feel good factor in abundance and you’ll be tapping your foot along for sure. This is Nutrocker by B. Bumble and the Stingers!

Oh I’m sure they used to use this at Great Yarmouth Stock Car Races! Probably a lot of other places too. They only needed the start of it, the rest would get lost in the noise as the race got going, nice to hear it for a change :)

That’s great. I remember the few times I’ve visited Hendsford Hills Raceway they did something similar, albeit with Dick Dales Miserlou. Thanks for commenting hun
